transforming into Christ's likeness
"And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit."

exploring how God’s symphonic attributes can be used as perspectives on all the topics of the Christian life
OUR PROJECT
exploring how God’s symphonic attributes can be used as perspectives on all the topics of the Christian life
OUR PROJECT
Using a theological foundation derived from the prepositions in Westminster Confession of Faith 2:2 that ‘God reveals his glory to, upon, in and by his creatures’ and by using a theological diagram (pictured above) so readers can grasp the New Covenant relationship between symphonic attributes of God and their derivative reflections in Christ’s humanity as the law-keeping Righteous One (WLC 99-150), and through saving faith (WCF 14:2) fulfilled in elect believers and their disciples who have the law written on their hearts. We are attempting a theological paradigm shift linked to all Christian life themes. Unfortunately, standard Reformed understanding of some attributes of God as incommunicable has veiled their application to Christ-likeness. This project unveils the usefulness of all God's attributes by proposing attribute-derived likenesses, removing the typical veil between the doctrine of God and all the other doctrines.
New Westminster Foundations Book
Westminster Foundations introduces a “Joy to the World” series dedicated to exemplifying, proclaiming, interceding and administrating the lex Christi “glories of his righteousness.” In Section One, Dr Yates identifies six symphonic patterns in the Westminster Standards that its authors used to integrate systematic and practical theology. In Section Two, he explains how Christ’s lex Christi righteous rule over the nations is extended by his representatives using those patterns. We “prove” that “truth and grace” and “wonders-of-his-love” blessings flow everywhere, removing the curses of lex Christi sins, consequent sorrows among men and thorns in the ground. Christ’s kingdom rule causes men, fields, floods, rocks, hills and plains to repeat the sounding joy of the blessed extension of His kingdom over the things that have been cursed. May these Westminster Standards perspectives reveal the “foundations” of Reformed theology that show readers the path to living the lex Christi blessings of the Christian life. May the Lord bring lex Christi “Joy to the World” through you!

Joy to the world, the Lord is come!
Let earth receive her King;
Let every heart prepare Him room,
And heav’n and nature sing,
And heav’n and nature sing,
And heav’n, and heav’n, and nature sing.
Joy to the earth, the Savior reigns!
Let men their songs employ;
While fields and floods, rocks, hills, and plains
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat, repeat, the sounding joy.
No more let sins and sorrows grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make His blessings flow
Far as the curse is found,
Far as the curse is found,
Far as, far as, the curse is found.
He rules the world with truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders, wonders, of His love
